Description
Hollowed log mortar & pestle. Naturally coloured using food safe wood stain from vinegar and black tea. The mortar was hollowed using various hand tools from a solid stump from an olive tree and the pestle hand sculpted from a large pine dowel. Stained using a food safe method from a mixture of vinegar and black tea which, with pine, gives a soft mat grey finish to add to the quality of this wonderfully original item. As unique as they come!!
