By visiting our website and/or using our services:

1. You acknowledge and agree that the personal and other information provided to us by you will be held by us for record keeping and general administration in the context of the provision of our services as well as of our business. Subject to any legislative limitation, if you so request, we shall provide you with copies of the information stored and/or maintained by us relating to you.

2. During the provision of our services as well as thereafter we will take reasonable steps to comply with the provisions of the applicable Data Protection Legislation, including EU GDPR Regulation (“DPL”) with regards to the processing of any of your personal data and to ensure their protection thereof. 

3. You hereby agree and grand your consent to us to use the information provided by you to contact you and/or your group for providing, from time to time, information about our services or services of a company of our group.

4. Furthermore to the above, the following Data Protection Terms shall apply by virtue of using this site and/or the services provided by this site:

DATA PROTECTION TERMS

1. For the purposes of this section,  the following definitions shall apply:

1. “Controller” means the natural or legal person which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data;

2. “Data Protection Legislation” means any applicable privacy and/ or data protection law in the Republic of Cyprus in force from time to time.

3. “Personal Data” mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person provided by you and/or the visitor and/or user of this site (hereinafter “you”), in relation to its employees, agents, representatives, clients, subcontractors or other individuals, and processed for the Purposes; and

4. “Processor” means a natural or legal person which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.

2. You acknowledge that Personal Data may be processed by “Handmade in Cyprus” either in its capacity as a Controller or as a Processor (as applicable), for the purpose of, or in connection with:

1. the provision of our services; 

2. applicable legal or regulatory requirements;

3. requests and communications with competent authorities; 

4. internal and external audits, and/or (v) administrative, financial, accounting, risk analysis, and client relationship purposes (the “Purposes”). You acknowledge that without the provision of the requested Personal Data, Handmade in Cyprus may not be able to provide services to you or carry out any of the other purposes referenced herein.

3. Personal Data may be disclosed to, and processed by, any Affiliates, service providers of Handmade in Cyprus and competent authorities for one or more of the Purposes. The processing and disclosure of Personal Data may involve the transfer of Personal Data outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), only insofar as such transfer is necessary for the provision of services In such cases, Handmade in Cyprus will  take adequate measures to ensure that such transfer is in compliance with Data Protection Legislation and that direct recipients will  provide the same level of protection as within the EEA. 

4. Handmade in Cyprus will ensure that it has in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that the Personal Data are secure, having regard to the level of the risk, the state of technological development and the costs of implementation.

5. Handmade in Cyprus will ensure that all persons authorised to process the Personal Data for the Purposes (including, without limitation, Handmade in Cyprus’ employees, agents or contractors) are obliged to keep the Personal Data confidential.

6. Where Handmade in Cyprus acts as a Processor, it shall additionally:

1. process Personal Data on the lawful written instructions of the Client;

2. provide reasonable assistance to you at your  cost, in responding to any data subject request in relation to the data subjects’ rights and in ensuring compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Legislation in relation to security, breach notifications, impact assessments and consultations with supervisory authorities;

3. notify you at an appropriate time of a personal data breach where the Personal Data have been, or are likely to have been, compromised;

4. at your written direction , delete or return Personal Data and copies thereof on termination providing services to you, subject to the provisions of any legal and/or regulatory requirements with which Handmade in Cyprus must comply;

5. make available to you upon your request at an appropriate time,   information demonstrating compliance with Handmade in Cyprus Data Protection undertakings; and

6. engage other sub-processors only with the prior notification of Handmade in Cyprus and provided that you will enter into a written agreement with such sub-processors, incorporating terms which are substantially similar to this undertaking.

7. Where Handmade in Cyprus acts as a Processor, you agree that you shall communicate to Handmade in Cyprus  any rectification or erasure of any Personal Data which Handmade in Cyprus  holds or restriction of processing of such Personal Data to Handmade in Cyprus unless, in your  reasonable opinion, such communication proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

8. Handmade in Cyprus may retain any Personal Data provided by you in connection with the provision of its services to you  in accordance with applicable Data Protection Legislation.

9. You shall ensure that you possess all necessary consents and notices in place to enable the lawful transfer of the Personal Data to Handmade in Cyprus for the duration of the provision of services to you.

10. Insofar Handmade in Cyprus acts as a Controller and provides services to you and you have a complaint or query with regard to the way your Personal Data are handled by Handmade in Cyprus,  you can contact Handmade in Cyprus’ appropriate department/personnel at handmadeincy@gmail.com.

11. Both you and Handmade in Cyprus agree that will comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Legislation when processing Personal Data.

12. You shall ensure that it does not knowingly or negligently do or omit to do anything which places Handmade in Cyprus in breach of its obligations under the Data Protection Legislation. 

13. You shall indemnify Handmade in Cyprus against all costs, expenses (including legal expenses), damages, loss (including loss of business or loss of profits), liabilities, demands, claims, actions, proceedings, which Handmade in Cyprus  may incur arising out of any breach by you of your obligations as stipulated hereinabove. .
